I am still not happy losing last weeks game by less than a goal,, and everyone saying you should be happy cos no one expected Collingwood to do well this season, you people make me want to spew up... We were good enough thats How WE got to a Preliminary Final and your crappy teams didnt... Geelong were incredibly good throughout the season,they deserve to finish top, finals are different as they have proved to be for Collingwood and Geelong over the past 50 years ... I dont care who wins, the AFL and Television broadcasters can only rub their hands with Glee if Collingwood does play finals.

Buckley to play on, Wakelin to go around again only because Clement will not. Judd will be a Magpie at a Huge cost. Channel Eddie to screen lots more of Miss Rebecca Twiggley's cleavage..

Is Brad Gotch leaving Collingwood/Williamstown for a position at Footscray, even he knows this is a backwards step...

I was shocked at how well Dane Swan did in Brownlow,,, I cannot believe the umpires only gave Rocca and Pendelbury 1 vote for their season, They really dont watch the same game we do...

I am so angry with the pathetic display put on for loyal fans and long suffering members by our less than acceptable finals aspirents,, I honestly hope that the Collingwood Magpies get their feathers singed by the desperate Demons this Friday night. Then the Killer Swans pick off what is left ... what a fitting end for the wounded Magpies, "A Murder of Crows" to end what will be a non humane destruction of weak and sick unfortunates...

We do not need to make the Finals, only for a half decent team to blow us out in round one....

Please God let us finish 9th... Let your Saints come Marching in,,, so that they can have their spirits destroyed again.... Who would want to scrape into this lop sided Final Eight. Bring back the Final Six...

Pa cant wait to see his Darling , this time next week Miss J and her mum will fly down from sunny Qld to the cold cold cold of wonderful Melbourne, might be a good time to take a sightseeing trip to Lake Mtn or if this weather keeps up we could just go to Mt Dandenong...ha ha,,,

The biggest news story of the day has nothing to do with an Indian doctor trying to earn a living in Australia practising his shonky molotov medicine or the fact that Geelong Football Clubs' major sponsor "Ford" is to close its engine building plant at Geelong with the flow on effect of possibly thousands of Geelong people looking elsewhere for employment... or that organisers want to pre sell Melbourne Cup Carnival tickets to control crowd numbers,, these items are not news worthy compared to our Captains' dodgy hamstring,,, how will other Collingwood supporters sleep tonight,,, I will be tossing and turning wondering if the Great Man will ever pull on the famous Black and White Jumper in anger again. ....as with the Hindenburgs explosion,,,"Ohh the Humanity"

arrrrrgh,,, I am still unhappy with Collingwood losing to the Cats at the MCG yesterday 14th July. Took along my friend Tim (a Saints supporter still bleeding from previous weeks game, go pies) He was happy for the day out but says the standard of footy has dropped if Geelong is the Ladder leader and flag favourite he is happy to go and watch suburban footy,, Its funny how some supporters of certain cubs when not going as hoped, drop off like autumn leaves only to be given new life with a new season.. I must admit though Saints supporters have had some crap seasons in my Lifetime, but the last 12 years that they have had reasonable sides and no glory, close but no cigar,,,, like Collingwood in my time, several losing Grand finals for only 1 Premiership,,,He had to go through the Tim Watson Years as We did the Tony Shaw years,,, dark days of football.

Geelong must be given credit , although it was an evenly contested game it was a real backmans game , both teams defenders were excellent in beating the forwards and returning the ball to their own fwd lines, Fanta Pants Ling absolutely took the cream from Dane Swan,, Leon Davis should have stayed on the ground more He would have stopped Ablett or impeded him at least, ( I used to shitcan Leon , I have changed ) now I have turned my focus for assasination towards our latest wannabee, The Skunk from Fremantle, who told you to fly for marks??? stay on the ground out of the f'ken way,, better still Play shit for Willy and never get back in the side , you are a waste of a draft pick. It was good to see the door close behind Tarrant after he gave us nothing for two years but I didnt want you,,,, I believe you are a selfish individual that will not last in a team game.

Geelong ran hard when not in possesion and always managed to have extra men in their defensive 50 when the ball was coming in, We truly miss the men who can kick at goal 55 metres plus it is the best way to beat the flooded backline, If only Rocca and Cloke would do it more often, we miss you Bucks,, Ryan Lonie can kick them but his other parts of the game are not there. A lot of talk about Chris Bryan being able to kick 60 metres plus ,,, bring it on son, If we do not kick goals and lots of them we are not going to be there abouts in late August. This season is up for grabs,, its there for the taking, You have to want it. I Do.

Called into Lazy Moes Oakleigh for the biggest plate of calamari ever served up, struggled to eat it and I am good on the tooth, no room for Cake, I will have to go back... Two Days and COUNTING
2PM Saturday MCG,,, Geelong the ladder leader takes on Collingwood, Almost a certainty to be match of the season (so far) but I guess when you follow the Pies every game is a blockbuster, all the other teams wish they had the support and loyalty like that of the Collingwood fan.
I almost believe the old joke,, "There is only two types of football fans,,,those that follow Collingwood,,,,,,,and those that wish they followed Collingwood.
My grandfather Bert was born in Collingwood in 1900, He lived to see Hallies Comet as a boy in 1910 and as senior citizen in 1986, but that was only a part of his story, He lived and grew up in the toughest times this country has probably experienced,,, since white man arrived anyway. Two World Wars and the Great Depression,,, breaking his arse working on the railway line as a labourer,,, running an SP bookie operation for years and , running a few Gee Gees without much success, Having 3 sons losing the eldest to the war,,, the greatest sacrifice ,,,was just part of his lot in life.... most cherished to him was raising his clan to follow his beloved Collingwood football team as he did... I am glad to say as the 5th of six children of his youngest son , to do what is as natural as breathing to follow the Magpies as well,,,, It was a Natural progression Of course my 3 children were all raised to barrack for the Good Old Collingwood and my darling granddaughter now 3 years old is very happy to shout "Carn th Magpies" as I said other teams wish they had the support and loyalty of the Collingwood fan, I am not a mere supporter of a club, I am a part of the Collingwood Family. and Proud of It, Thanks Bert. Hello to you... I am "The Don" You can find me at all Collingwood AFL Games going absolutely ape droppings at those 3 drips wearing the colours of the canary or whatever other colour a midget henpecked wannabee would like to wear , these poor blights on our game who would do anything to swing a bit of power, that their day to day jobs and their wives do not usually allow... I just wish that some of them were actually big enough to want to play the game instead of being pipsqueaks who come out just to use their shiny whistles and stupid choreographed signals and arc running busily crossing themselves because again they have no idea what decision should ve been made... whammo big Rocca just ran through another dud,,, elbow tucked in, feet on the ground , too bad,,,, Its a mans game.
